A Letter From Our Pastor

 

C3 Church Family, 

 

I want to invite you, along with everyone at C3, to go on a journey. This page is your roadmap for IGNITE, a two year initiative to unleash God’s transformative power in each of our lives! Every week, as we experience life change together, I’m continually blown away by all God has done, and continues to do, in and through the life of C3 especially as I think about the last two years.

 

  • + Clear your calendar and plan to join me for all five weeks of our IGNITE message series that begins January 28th.
  • + Get plugged into a Community Group. All groups will be discussing and praying through this vitally important topic. 
  • + Prayerfully read through this material and begin asking God what He wants you to do in response to our IGNITE initiative.
  • + Open your heart to all that God wants to teach you through this season!

 

This is going to be one of those life-changing, future-shaping moments for each of us as well as for C3. I don’t want you to miss one ounce of what God wants to do in your life in 2024 that will set the stage for the rest of your life. We’re going to look back on these days and be blown away by how God used INGITE to transform us into people living the lives He created us to live. This is what you’ve been looking for. This is what you’ve been waiting for. I can’t wait to see how God is going to use IGNITE to transform you and C3!

PRIMARY GOAL: 100% ENGAGEMENT

IGNITE is first and foremost a discipleship initiative. We want to position ourselves for God's best, and are calling on every person in the C3 family to fully engage. This includes each of us joining together to pray, participate, serve, and commit to give. It everyone does 100% of what God asks them to do, we will see Him unleash His transformative power in our lives, our church, our community, and in our future!

SECONDARY GOAL: $3.6M IN GENEROSITY
We are inviting everyone within the C3 Church family to embark on a journey that will propel us into the future. This vision introduces the primary ways we can make an impact on our church, our community, and our future. We have seen God do so much already in and through the life of C3, and we believe He has even bigger and greater plans for our church in the years to come!

2024 Budget Overview

ONE FUND INITIATIVE

You may have been part of church campaigns in the past where you were asked to give a second gift “above and beyond” your usual gifts to complete special projects. Normally, you gave that gift to the “Building Fund” and you also continued to give to the “General Fund.” This type of giving is potentially confusing to people who either don’t have a baseline for their “usual giving” or who aren’t able to really celebrate the total giving at C3 Church in one single number.

ONE MISSION

We believe we’re all on ONE MISSION-to love people to a growing relationship with Jesus. The IGNITE Generosity Initiative will last two years. In those two years, every gift given to C3 will go to the IGNITE Initiative-to help us IGNITE our church, our community, and our future. Below is a link to the commitment card so you can see how a “one fund initiative” works. Please take the time to pray over your commitment, and join us as we continue to Connect the Community with Christ!
