WHY JOIN A GROUP?

Life is hectic. Between work, kids, and everything else on your plate, it’s easy to let the urgent crowd out the important. But Groups give you the chance to slow down and invest in what matters most: your faith and your relationships.

Session Dates: September 14 – November 1

WHAT TO EXPECT

- Groups meet weekly for about one hour
- 9-week commitment — short term, big impact
- 10–16 people, led by a trained facilitator
- Meet in homes or at C3
- Discussion based on Sunday’s message
- A safe, supportive environment to grow spiritually

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHO ARE COMMUNITY GROUPS FOR?

While everyone is welcome to attend C3 Church Orlando on Sundays, our Community Groups are intended only for people who are actively a part of C3 Church, or do not attend a church regularly. We encourage those who are a part of another church to fully plug into the church that is investing in their lives.

WHAT WILL WE DO AT A TYPICAL GROUP MEETING?

For this session, Groups will meet in homes based on stage of life. The Group Leader will guide your group through discussion questions based on Pastor Byron's message from Sunday. The sessions will last around 90 minutes, and provide a great opportunity for you to meet others in the life of C3!

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT THE BIBLE?

You do not have to have any knowledge about the Bible to join a Community Group. You’ll learn about REAL PEOPLE from the Bible, stories Jesus told, and experiences people endured that will offer hope and helpful life principles to every person, no matter your background.

HOW MUCH TIME IS THIS GOING TO TAKE?

Each Group Session lasts about 8 weeks. We will announce start dates on Sunday Mornings during registration. All Group sessions will last around 90 minutes.

WILL I BE CALLED ON TO ANSWER A QUESTION OR PRAY OUT LOUD?

While we have all had teachers that love to put us on the spot and dreaded those classes, that is not how it will be in Groups. No one will be forced to talk or share more than they would like. Groups become like families, and are a comfortable relaxed environment. We all move at a different pace, and you’re allowed to do just that!

WILL THERE BE HOMEWORK? IF SO, HOW MUCH?

There's no outside work required, but each week there will be an application from the study that we'll be encouraged to focus on throughout the week.
